A lot of homeowners in Franklin, MI know what they don't want - an unfinished side yard, a crumbling brick path, a bare front bed that just sits there doing nothing. The harder part is knowing what to replace it with. That's exactly where we come in. We handle the design side just as much as the install side, and this job shows what that looks like from start to finish.

The courtyard work here involved laying a curved brick pathway in a herringbone-style pattern with a soldier-course border. Getting those curves right takes patience. The bricks have to be cut precisely, and the transition from the pathway into the courtyard pad needs to feel intentional - not like two separate things stitched together. We spent real time on the layout before a single brick was set permanently.

Out front, the transformation was just as significant. Bare, uneven ground got replaced with fresh sod, planted beds with clean mulch lines, and a curving stone walkway that actually leads you somewhere. A black aluminum fence ties the whole courtyard area together and gives the white exterior a sharp contrast. Landscape lighting along the walk adds function after dark without overcomplicating the look.

We also tackled a separate paver patio and fire pit build - a circular paver pad with a built-in stone seating wall and a matching stone fire pit ring at the center. That kind of setup turns a plain backyard into a space people actually use. The stonework on the seating wall is stacked and capped, which keeps it looking clean rather than rustic. Every element on this job was designed to work together, not just dropped in and hoped for the best.

Whether you're starting from scratch or trying to fix a yard that never quite came together, this kind of full-scope design and install is what we do. We serve homeowners throughout the Franklin, MI 48025 area and beyond, and we bring the same attention to detail to every property we touch.
